Internationalization

The expansion of Emerging Market Multinationals (EMNEs) has gained the attention of researchers and consultants in the last decade. GVCEI supposes that those companies are going abroad in a different economic scenario compared to their pioneers from the development countries, as known as  “early-movers.” The EMNEs are facing a competitive environment due to the abundance of production capacity.

Then, our projects are related to the relationship of headquarters – subsidiary, focusing on: the need for those companies to develop activities with higher value, development of specific competences, reverse innovation opportunities, reevaluation of their position on the global value chain, establishment of global mindset, and business model transference.
