The Center for International Business Studies (Centro de Estudos em Competitividade Internacional – FGVCEI) seeks to create and promote knowledge regarding firm and country competitiveness. The Center has an interdisciplinary characteristic encompassing business, economy, and politics through four main research areas:

  • Competitiveness and Managerial Practices
  • Internationalization
  • Relationship between Government and Business Organization
  • Family Business

FGVCEI has two main strategic goals: (i) Serve as a platform to disseminate the public debate about competitiveness, identifying common challenges and opportunities for local and foreign companies; (ii) Promote intellectual cooperation with Brazilian businesses and government to encourage the development of applied research.
